The day comes to an end...

I took this picture after he fell fast asleep from CELEBRATING HIS special day!

It was Isaac's 4th birthday today and it is now evening and coming to an end.

After I sent all the kids off to school this morning it was just me and Isaac to CELEBRATE his special day. We went to the candy store, checked mail (thanks for the birthday cards that everyone sent for him) there is nothing like being a little kid and having mail, then we went to lunch, shopped a little and then we came home and made COOKIES with M&M's.
I loved every minute with him today!

Each evening I read to him and kneel beside him to pray, his prayers are so humbling and amazing to me and I so love this time with him. Tonight I had a thought to ask him after he prayed if I could offer a prayer and he agreed. It was amazing to kneel beside him and thank my Heavenly Father for blessing me to be Isaac's Mommy! He had tears in his eyes and felt very loved... not just from me. He even kissed my forehead, which is my personal favorite kiss! As I tuck him in each evening I ask him if he would like to share something about his day...his responses are always very specific and detailed and this means so much to him and to me! Another year passes and I feel so blessed to be this little guys Mommy!

Before taking the kids to JUMP ON IT for all the birthdays we had a silly string war first...that was some silly fun!

I never stop reading this book, when I complete the last page I start over. I started color coding this book with a stop light color coding system and it speaks volumes to me even more so.
