Feeling your heart

Little kids have a way of living IN THE MOMENT and it is a constant reminder for me.

My little one comes up to me and says, "CAN I HUG YOU", I say sure. As he is hugging me he says, "I JUST WANTED TO FEEL YOUR HEART MAMA, MY TEACHER SAID TO TRY IT AND I DID IT!"

IT MELTED MY HEART!

It's almost JUNE here in UTAH and we wake up to SNOW!?!
Isaac comes out of his room dressed in long sleeves and shorts, he has the right idea...maybe.
He sees the snow and goes out to play in it. He comes back in with cold feet due to snow in his boots.
I tell him, "GO GET SOME SOCKS ON". He comes out saying, "Will this work mom?"

May 24...WOW are we ready for summer!

What a blessing it has been to live so close to the temple these last few years, first in Arizona and now here in Utah and soon back in Arizona. This is the Timpanogos Utah temple, it is just minutes from our home. I strive to come here once a week to serve, be instructed, and to be inspired.

Last week I walked in to do a session and noticed a sign on the front desk asking for help in the sealing room. I felt that is where I should be. I ended up feeling very close to my heavenly home in this beautiful moment. I was able to stand in proxy for many daughters being sealed to parents. I loved the sweet elderly man that was the sealer who took the time to talk to me and share his feelings about our sweet experience...POWERFUL and BEAUTIFUL it is to be filled with HIS spirit, even Christs' as we listen and learn.


It is amazing to know that I belong to the same church that Jesus taught about and instructed those he walked with when on the earth and how through my continued studies I know it to be the only true gospel here on the earth.

How great it is to be part of a work that connects those in heaven with those of us on earth and how we truly need each other to grow.

The day we got back from our little weekend getaway my brother and his wife came in to spend the day with us. Love you guys and so enjoyed this visit.

It is wonderful that at the end of the day he is so willing to hold me in his arms...nothing quite like it!

To my children...

I feel impressed to write to you today and I am grateful for this opportunity to feel how much I truly love you and has had me thanking my Heavenly Father that he blessed me to be your mother here on earth.

Right now in our early morning study time we are learning about Nephi and Sam's attitude vs. Laman and Lemuel. What a great reminder to us and especially you at your age to know that how you speak is powerful! Create with all that comes out of your mouth. Don't give room to put others down or complain. Get to know the Lord through personal scripture study daily, this time will strengthen you more than anything in your life. Be willing to go and serve and be obedient as we are teaching you. Refuse to settle for less than the best. Be an example to EVERYONE around you and you will be JOY!

There have been many times that I have been around you and I get chilled because I feel how important you are in Heavenly Fathers kingdom and what he has in store for you here.

I am grateful for who you are and know that if I get frustrated sometimes it's only because of what I want for you and has nothing to do with you, so try not to take it personal.

I know that this past week has been an opportunity for you to grow in a way that is your path and I have confidence in you that you will gain knowledge through these responsibilities.

I love you and want you to know that I am your biggest FAN!

With our move soon I know that you can and will continue to add to your friendships and be an example to many!
