Isaac -Preschool
Dallin 7th Emmie 2nd
Leah 9th
Spencer 11th
There are so many things about SUMMER BREAK that is refreshing, one of which is not feeling so much like I'm on others' schedules. I just love that "more relaxed feeling" for a couple of months BUT... SCHOOL IS NOW IN SESSION...which means enforced scheduling back in session and in full accountability.
Over the years we have learned and added to our responsibilities in the home as we were/are ready. To someone outside looking in it may seem overwhelming but it runs as smooth as butter here and is quite rewarding to see my children do all the things they do and accomplish without MURMURING.
They wake up on their own and do their list of chores before school, engage in study time, set and accomplish goals for the week, and get along so well with each other (which feels me up with gratitude).
To my kiddo's...I just want to say that now that another school year is beginning, how blessed I feel to learn so much in being your mother and in growing together as a family because it really does brings me so much JOY!
Thrilled that Leah and I are in PIANO LESSONS, Emmie's headed back to VOICE LESSONS, Spencer and Dallin are headed back to GUITAR LESSONS and Leah is now on the TENNIS TEAM in her High School. Also, Isaac is now attending a preschool a few times a week for a couple of hours and he is LOVING IT! I would rather have him home with me every minute but am confident that this is a good choice for him as he is preparing to attend the Benjamin Franklin Charter School next year!
