Did anything prepare me for being a missionary mom? I mean sending him off to college for two semesters should have helped right? I thought that was an emotional day but didn't even compare to the early morning good bye's at the airport and sending Spence off as Elder Wilkins.

At least sending him off as a college student I knew he would be home often, call, write, tweet, use Instagram, etc.

So many wonderful emotions hit me that morning and the tears flowed.
I am thankful for the many, many thoughts of all the good memories that help transition me into a new phase as a mother. The old phase missed-yes, but that is growth for ya!

I still get teary eyed for these present, precious thoughts that are priceless. What I do know is that I have a favorite missionary now and it is pure joy to see him be about his Father's work here on Earth.

Love, love, love you my sweet missionary. See you in two years!!

Spencer's farewell talk

Spencer's farewell talk left my heart warmed. It is good to see and hear his testimony and the love he is beginning to have for those he is called to serve! He was warmly greeted and supported by so many who came to hear him speak. A special thank you to each of you!!!

Spencer, Mesa Az Temple

What a wonderful experience taking Spencer through the temple for the first time was! I am grateful that his best bud, Colten Baker was there to experience this moment with Spence for the first time as well, together!
Adam and Michelle Brady, Lorri and Brandon Craig, Rebecca and John Baker, Cheri Smith and of course Will and I shared this special temple experience with Spence. Will was his escort and Spence was so appreciative of this. Brandon took all of us out for a dinner to celebrate! Thank you Brandon!

I never stop reading this book, when I complete the last page I start over. I started color coding this book with a stop light color coding system and it speaks volumes to me even more so.
