Understanding

When I left Missouri a couple years ago I had friends tell me that I should record all that I was going through and as I started to write I felt I wanted to only share in a way that would uplift and encourage...I began with 2 large notebooks.

The first notebook: As i strive to attend the temple weekly I return home and record impressions that come during this peaceful time.

The second notebook: During study time each day of one chapter from each of the standard works and other uplifting books I record questions that I had/have and then as I find them in my study I record with a reference attached. This continues to be a powerful tool for me.

TODAY in my study I had understanding as to why we have tribulations...
I had a thought to share, maybe someone needs to hear this today?

Tribulations?

...but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

-Romans 5: 3-5

Also, I came across this quote today:

ONLY HE WHO DOES SOMETHING HELPS OTHERS TO LIVE...
wow powerful!
NOW LETS GO DO SOMETHING TODAY!

a favorite breakfast

Every Wednesday we have an egg dish for breakfast and wanted to share this family favorite recipe...

Stuffed German Pancake

1/3 c. butter (i use less)
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1 c. flour

Place butter in skillet or glass dish that is oven safe and put in preheated 425* oven to melt.

While butter is melting; in blender, blend eggs for 1 minute. While the blender is running slowly add milk then the flour and blend for 30 sec. Pour into hot skillet and returm to oven. Bake 20-25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

Fill with hashbrowns, sausage, and cheddar cheese. Top with your own favorites!

People have watched my path change so dramatically that I have had many calls and/or emails regarding questions relating to "HOW DO I HAVE THE COURAGE TO..." my email/numbers have changed in the last while so if you are trying to reach me... drop a comment with your emails and I will re-enter your contact info.

I think of you and hope you are rising to a level of self realization. Remember that the concepts we haven't inquired or investigated cause attachments to stories.

JUST THIS MORNING I HAD SOMETHING EATING AT ME AND DID INQUIRY AND WAS LEFT WITH COMPLETE PEACE.(thanks to BYRON KATIE'S CD I was reminded of BEING IN my truth and owning it and BEING ok with people being on their own path to learning)

REMEMBER...

GET REAL. INQUIRE WITHIN. CONCEPTS WE HAVEN'T INQUIRED OR INVESTIGATED CAUSE ATTACHMENTS TO A STORY. WE WANT TRUTH NOT STORIES OVERTAKING US.

I LOVE PEACE...IT'S BALANCE!

I WANT SELF-LOVE and PEACE FOR EVERYONE WHO WANTS IT...

Update

Spencer and Dallin...
Will and I took our boys to a Court of Honor Sunday night. The boys in our ward are so talented and the scout leaders so dedicated to service. I feel blessed that our boys have such a great father figure and so many examples of great men that surround them who excel, improve and create. What a great time in life to live where we live. What great examples for our boys to follow. Spencer is gearing up for his Eagle Project and we know this is an opportunity for him to excel and learn to be committed to himself and others! Dallin knows he wants to join the Air Force Academy someday and Will is a great resource for Dallin to stay focused on this goal for the future, he brought Dallin home an Air Force Academy dog tag after a business trip with the Air Force. (He was pretty excited)
Also, Spencer and Dallin start electric guitar lessons on Thursday!

LEAH...
Started piano lessons and she really likes it! I know this is a talent that she can aspire to serve and lift others with. She is 2nd counselor in her Beehive class of 16 girls. She enjoys her school and says this is her favorite school! She is very talented in Art and just won 2nd place in an Art contest of over 1000 student entries, her creative mind amazes me.

Emmie...
She has an amazing voice and is NOW in voice lessons. This provides an opportunity to bless her to really grow in this talent. She has a CHRISTMAS concert coming in December and we are really looking forward to this. We are delighted that she loves school so much and thrives in her schoolwork!

ISAAC...
He continues to be the sweetest little boy out there and is so blessed to have Will's influence daily to MAN HIM UP! hee, hee...

Before school started this year Will purchased Math Manuals for each child and has them working extra hard to tutor just for the "BRAINS OF IT", they account to him on a regular basis and this might be the reason for everyone having an A in this subject at school!

WILL AND KELLI...
We love being so in LOVE and are amazed at how much love we feel from each other. Sunday night we got to talking and lost track of time before we noticed it was 1am and we better get some sleep. I find it so wonderful to be with someone who encourages me to get out of my comfort zone and GROW. I am looking into attending the University of Utah in Exercise and Sport Science. Will is continuing in his leadership training and Spencer and I had the privilege of attending one of his grads and then dining with his new friend from Kuwait..I learned from this experience...

So now you know a little bit of whats been going on with us...how about YOU???

KNOW THAT IF YOUR READING THIS WE DO CARE ABOUT YOU!

Lift where you stand

Upon returning home from my morning jog I checked my phone messages and this is what was text to me from my hubby...

"Just want u to know that u inspire me!!!
I love u."

I feel like I am the luckiest wife ever! That text should be switched around because in reality he inspires me...

I love that people take the time to lift just as my hubby did/does for me!

Who has lifted you today?

Connect 4

We saw this new connect 4 at Target and couldn't pass it up and good thing because it is tooo fun! Create a line of 4 in a row diagonally, horizontally or vertically on either side of the grid, or by weaving in between the 2 sides, which is a bit more challenging.

take the challenge for the only 4 in a row game for 4 players!

Thought we would pass this one along to you families that love playing together!
Oh and by the way Forrest we LOVED having you with us this weekend!

Aprons, Aprons, Aprons!

While the boys went out to play us girls made...

Leah's

Emmie's

Monterey's Kelli's, but I already had mine!
The girls picked out the fabric they liked and they turned out so cute!
