It's great to be 8!

Emz had our full attention on her special day which included choosing a restaurant and movie of her choice, we loved this special time to talk and laugh with our "SPICE GIRL"!

Emmie has a STRONG AND BOLD personality and isn't afraid to tell it like it is most of the time! She is so responsible in completing her personal chores each day and we love how she serves!

She loves to READ (enjoying the IVY & BEAN chapter books at this time) and she loves being involved in both piano and voice lessons.

She just received her Baptismal Packet on Sunday April 17th and is preparing to be baptized within a month. She has chosen her big brother Spencer to baptize her which we think will be a special experience for them to share and her Daddy Will to confirm her. We are looking forward to supporting her on this special occasion.

She adds so much life and joy to our family!

Purpose

WHAT DID I LEARN FROM A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I HAD YESTERDAY?

Always know your purpose clearly before hand.

THE END RESULT?

CONFIDENCE and PEACE within yourself. The ability to COMMUNICATE in a positive, powerful way.

I had this clear awareness as I analyzed a task at hand that didn't have the result I wanted. It had everything to do with ME and no one else. I determined to find the source of my lack of confidence on a duty that was mine to do. No room to say I failed yesterday because of how much I gained from this new awareness that can only be learned through personal experience!

I am grateful...

I have stated many times in the past that I love "BEING A MOTHER" ! In my experience it is one of the most rewarding seasons of my life and as I get older will want to cherish this JOY! In this responsibility to nurture comes experiences of growth and much laughter. I am called upon to ponder and make choices knowing that it is wise to do what is in the best interest of my children which is to include time for play, study, and hard work! We awaken each EARLY morning with study time together, breakfast time, chores time, and then off to school we go. ONE BY ONE with 3 different schools to journey to. We arrive home ready for homework, music lessons, and dinnertime as a family. We nestle into most evenings as a family reading stories, memorizing, and uplift through routine activities in which we enjoy and share. This invites unity and builds a thick wall of love within our home to which each of us feels tucked into at night.

Relaxation in Cali

We enjoyed DINING IN *DINING OUT* MORNING WALKS ALONG THE BEACH *PLAYING, DIGGING, BUILDING, AND JUMPING IN THE SAND *SLEEPING IN *BIKING *MOVIES* SHOPPING* TIME TOGETHER AND SO MUCH MORE.. At this resort we felt we had the ocean to ourselves which provided such peace from the hustle and bustle of daily events, it truly was a SpringBREAK! We spent a crazy day at Venice Beach which was total opposite of our quiet getaway but much enjoyed. The kids enjoyed the various styles and creations of people all around that brought on much laughter and memories.

Super love my KelzyBaby bracelet from Will...it's his nickname for me and I LOOOOVE IT! Lots of fun colorful things to shop for...

Break before SPRING BREAK!

The kids are getting older and are getting more opinionated about having a voice in where and what they would like to be doing and so we are creating and working together in this!

Leah was able to spend Spring break in L.A. with a small group chosen to go on a fashion trip and she enjoyed every minute of this tour! We decided to create a trip while we were there supporting her in this event and had such a great time!

Our little guy was so excited to go to the Jedi academy. The first day he was an observer the second day he was ready to get involved! Fighting the force

Love that my sisters family joined us!

Our little guy is such a lego fan and getting to go to the LEGO store at Disney Land was pretty cool.

great memories!

Listening Within

Decisions aren't always easy to make and sometimes it takes a lot of pondering to not come up with the good answer or the better answer, but the BEST answer to a situation.
